Hailey will talk turkey to all the folks out there who struggle with the young person stereotypes that make them doubt themselves and put up road blocks. SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12TH AT 1:00 PM - WWII 101ST AIRBORNE VETERAN - DONALD R. BURGETT, with his series of historical memoirs of his time in the war. This is the real deal, "Band of Brothers" stuff. Let's just put it this way. If you were going to come to only one event, come to this one. Come shake his hand, listen to the stories, and read his books. Autographed copies with new cover art by Billy Tucci (Sgt. Rock, The Lost Batallion, 2009") will be available. Don has lived in Howell for years and would love to meet you all.

David is a Howell fixture and if you haven't had the pleasure of seeing his work or meeting him, here is your chance. He is a college professor, author, actor, poet, radio personality, producer, director, and all around good guy. This book is a horror having to do with how fast you can lose everything and give up everything else to save the one thing you need. He will bring all of his titles and and will field questions and talk about his up-coming projects. (Superman, The Musical shhhh!)

Mike Dikeman with his book "Diary of Abuse." Mike is a survivor. One little boy who was horribly abused, however, who grew up to realize that although you may be helpless when you are young, as an adult you can be the one to break the chain of child abuse.
LACASA offers comprehensive services for survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault. This nonprofit agency provides support, shelter, counseling and ongoing support groups for vulnerable children and adults from Livingston County. Survivors receive various services at no charge including 24/7 Crisis Line, on-call response team, sexual assault response center, and legal advocacy programs.
